In a nutshell…

We’re looking for a super talented Content Planner to join us for a 12 month FTC! You’ll be working on Samsung’s various digital content touch points, mainly: Content hub: Explore on Samsung.com Explore is a passion-centric content hub designed to connect content, products, passions and people which we launched in 2018 and rolled out across various European markets. We produce editorial content centrally here in the UK. Loyalty platform: Samsung Members mobile app & web We launched Samsung Members across various European markets and our team oversees the content planning and delivery of content for the app across Europe. Within this role you will support Content Strategists with various research requirements.  

What the day to day looks like…

  • Keeping up-to-date with cultural/social trends and customers’ views and attitudes
  • Undertaking content and audience research tasks set by the Content Strategist, using various market insights, social listening, buzz monitoring tools (Contagious IO, Crimson Hexagon, Buzzsumo, BrightEdge, Brand watch, etc.)
  • Support in the creation of presentations & editorial calendar
  • Co-ordinating and working with internal data & insight specialists for reports  
  • Contributing to quarterly content planning sessions and brainstorming new ideas
  • Supporting on creating copywriting and design briefs for Members and Explore
  • Working with other teams such as SEO and Data Insights to maximise research for content planning
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management

Strings to your bow…

  • Experience in a creative or digital marketing agency environment
  • Ability to conduct independent research using a proactive approach
  • Using your planning abilities to support the development of content strategies
  • Creative thinking and regular idea generation
  • Excellent client management
  • Experience developing editorial calendars is essential
  • Experience using social listening and research tools e.g. Crimson Hexagon, BrightEdge, and Buzzsumo
  • Data analysis leading to actionable insights
