In a nutshell…

You will help support Samsung Europe’s vision to grow their online retailer sales and brand presence, acting as a key player to drive the strategy to grow their online retail partner’s performance using a combination of industry knowledge and data-driven capabilities. The role…

  • Work with Samsung, Cheil Business Director and Senior e-Retail Content Manager to create, own and drive the content and performance strategy for e-Retail across Europe.
  • Work with Samsung to understand objectives and to create, own and drive a proactive road map of activities: build channel campaign strategies, ways of improving evergreen product portfolio and optimise channel investments using Cheil Europe D.I.A (Digital Intelligence & Analytics) knowledge, third-party data/tools, and rigorous analytical methods.
  • You will be the central strategic lead of Cheil’s European network of e-Retail Performance Managers (EPMs) ensuring that you help shape the data output with D.I.A. so that it meets programme objectives and suits the needs of local clients.
  • Become a data and tool super user and ambassador of performance for e-Retail.
  • Review and understand analytical outputs from D.I.A. including daily/weekly/monthly reports/insights and challenge team on data insights.
  • Create conversations and strategy by developing insights and narratives using e-Retailer and D.I.A output that show the holistic impact of the channel investment against the channel’s business and marketing goals.
  • Build and develop strategic relationships with Samsung Europe and local Samsung – working with stakeholders from across Cheil Europe to identify sales opportunities, develop proposals and build distinctive, enduring, client relationships equipped with best practice guidance that can be followed and executed locally.

Strings to your bow…

  • Digital and E-Commerce (pure players, marketplaces and e-Retail) native, commanding strong knowledge and industry expertise.
  • Adept at analysing 3rd party research data and drawing actionable insights and improvements across retailer.com channels, both at a strategic and tactical level.
  • Strong understanding and experience in using e-commerce analytical software, preferably Adobe, SimilarWeb, Dexi or BrandView.
  • Experience of having worked with data sets scraping tools such as: Similar Web, Dexi, Qlik, & Brand View.
  • Ability to identify key trends and opportunities to boost brand and category performance across channels, using the analytical software provided and internal visualisation solutions.
  • Develop actionable insights and improvements across retailer.com channels.
  • Confident in working with complex data-sets translating data into real life actionable insights and plans.
  • Experience in Consumer Electronics industry or general retailer e-commerce .

Who are you?

  • 5 years + Digital Marketing/ecommerce experience at a major retailer, agency or consultancy: excellent relationship management experience working with internal teams, clients and third parties.
  • Deep understanding of E-Commerce and Digital Marketing with the ability to identify key trends and opportunities to boost brand and category performance across channels. Ability to identify key trends and opportunities to boost brand/sales and category performance across channels.
  • Strong strategic management experience and drive for excellence with exceptional client facing skills and the ability to develop structured storylines for presentations inspired by data/analytics.
  • Proven leadership experience with ability to manage teams remotely and demonstrate clarity on strategic objectives.
  • Experience in creating and running workshop presentations to both internal teams and clients.
  • Ability to create and deliver persuasive, clear, and concise communications for various audiences with minimal guidance.
  • Expert user of MS packages especially Excel and PowerPoint to build presentations and translate data.
